It is located across the street from Miss Sophie's Hotel in the New Town of Prague, which Charles IV tacked on to the Old Town way back in 1348. Thanks to the good Bohemian king, you’ll be amidst the local charm of the New Town and an easy stroll from the historic Old Town sights. Just around the corner from Miss Sophie’s, find the city’s best tram lines which will zip you all around Prague.Read More
Very chic and very comfortable. Located close enough to Wencelas square. Close to I.P. Pavalova and Stephanska tram stop for tram 22 ( major tourist-seeing tram).
By the far the best hospitability and the comfort is undeniable. I will definitely stay here for my next visit.
Very nice place for couple of nights. The Old Town is 25 minutes away by walk, the nearest metro station is 2/3 minutes. Also there are many good restaurants and bars not so far away. Great and beautiful place.
My friend and I stayed in this hotel for two nights and it was a very nice stay. We got picked from the airport and safely brought to the hotel which located quite near the centre. We didn’t need to walk so far to reach the centre and it was a nice walk too because we definitely could do the city sightseeing.
Anyhow, Miss Sophie’s has helped me and my friend to feel good about Prague and we had a pleasant stay there.
Pretty boutique hotel! Our room was tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. It is a good location with restaurants and bars nearby and good transport links. About a 20 minute walk to Old Town. The breakfast is also good and available all morning. Would definitely recommend the hotel to friends.
I couldn’t be happier with my stay at Miss Sophie’s. The hotel was just as advertised with a very helpful staff. The hostel bar across the street provided a very welcoming and pleasant experience as well. Highly recommended!
Very nice atmosphere and interiors. It was my wife’s birthday and there was a bottle of champagne waiting for her in the room. They have also organized nice flowers and the room was prepared for our baby. Great place for a family trip!
I stayed at Miss Sophie’s for 7 nights in September 2014 while traveling solo in the Czech Republic. Miss Sophie’s was the perfect home base for day trips through out the region and a fabulously central place for touring Prague. The staff was exceptional. They were all young (20’s), but completely professional with great work ethic and devoted to making everyone feel welcome.
If you are not afraid of a little walking, this hotel is reasonably well-located to get to all the main sites — maybe 10-15 minutes. It has just been redone and everything is very stylized and eclectic, but appealing. There are maybe 20 rooms in an old 4 or 5 story building (with an elevator) that have recently been updated/redecorated. The decor is fun, light and hip. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning (it was in the 90s when we were there) was good.
“15 minute walk from the old town district, clean beds and washroom, individual outlets and lights, super friendly staff, great bar and solid wifi. cannot express enough how stellar the breakfast is… I mean I think it might be homemade strawberry jam! Deeeelicious.”
“Staff were very nice. room was very spacious and clean. bathroom very good. comfortable beds. short walk to the no.22 tram which takes you over the river towards the castle district. stayed for 2 nights and had absolutely no quarrels at all.”
